With his size, speed and dazzling instincts, Greg Inglis had the field covered in his junior rugby league days and was quickly pegged by scouts as an extra-special talent. The Bowraville-born centre was blooded in first grade with the Melbourne Storm as an 18-year-old in 2005 and rapidly established himself in the NRL. Within 12 months he became a fixture in State of Origin teams for Queensland and in Australia’s Test line-up. Inglis was recognised as the leading player in the world in 2009 and after transferring to South Sydney in 2011 he has continued to produce high-calibre performances at all levels.
